South Shore Barn is the best place for your wedding, family reunion, or party.

The Barn
The South Shore Barn stands as a tribute to early 20th-century craftsmanship, built with large Douglas fir timbers and traditional mortise and tenon joints. Rough-cut aged wood siding and rough sawn wood floors add rustic charm, evoking a sense of stepping back in time. This venue beautifully combines durability with historical elegance, perfect for those who cherish authentic
experiences.
The Grounds
Located on the historic lambing grounds of a fourth-generation sheep ranch, South Shore Barn features a large porch that offers panoramic views of pastures still grazed by livestock. This porch not only adds flexibility for events requiring additional space but also serves as a
charming spot for guests to gather. Just off the porch, a half-acre of grassy slopes, adorned with sunflowers, creates an idyllic backdrop for outdoor weddings.

Facilities
The main hall of the barn accommodates up to 176 guests and is complemented by a large kitchen for caterers. Upstairs, there is a dedicated bride’s room, beautifully adorned with farmhouse decor and featuring a spacious bathroom. The facility also includes three large bathrooms to comfortably accommodate guests.
Location
Situated just half a mile from Bear Lake in Laketown, Utah, South Shore Barn sits on a working sheep ranch. The barn is surrounded by sheep corrals, pastures and farmland growing crops such as sweetcorn, pumpkins and Bear Lake raspberries, offering a country retreat while remaining close to the lively attractions of Bear Lake valley.
